Arrival, Departure & Logistics
What are the Check-in and Check-out times, and can I arrange an early arrival or late departure?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 11:30 AM. Our reception desk is open 24/7 to welcome you at any time.
Subject to hotel availability, early arrival or late check-out can be arranged for an additional fee of €30 per extra hour.
Do you offer a luggage storage service?
Yes. We will gladly store your luggage securely before you check in or after you check out. Please just ask at the front desk.
How can I reach the estate without a car (Nearest train station)?
You can take the RER D train to the Combs-la-Ville – Quincy station. From there, Les Demeures de Varennes is just a 5 to 10-minute ride away by taxi or ride-sharing apps (Uber).
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes, a large complimentary parking lot is available on-site within the estate grounds for all hotel, restaurant, and event guests. Please note that this is an unmonitored parking area.
Do you have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations?
Yes, the estate is equipped with two EV charging stations. This is a paid, self-service amenity, allowing guests to pay directly at the station for their energy usage.
Wellness Area & SPA
Is SPA access included, and what are the terms of access?
Access to the SPA is included for a 1-hour session per stay. It is a shared, non-private wellness space open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Access is strictly reserved for guests aged 18 and older.
What is the dress code for the SPA? Are swim shorts allowed?
A swimsuit is mandatory to access the wellness facilities. Please note that swim shorts are not permitted.
Is the SPA open during lunchtime?
Yes, the SPA operates continuously from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Access on Sunday at lunchtime is especially popular when paired with our signature brunch experience.
Outdoor Swimming Pool
When does the outdoor pool open and is it heated?
Our outdoor swimming pool is heated and opens from mid-june until the end of the summer season, subject to favorable weather conditions.
Can breakfast or brunch guests use the swimming pool?
No, use of the swimming pool is exclusively reserved for overnight hotel guests staying in our rooms.
Can I use the swimming pool after checking out of my room?
No. To ensure the comfort of all visitors and prepare for newly arriving guests, pool access ends at your check-out time (11:30 AM).
Accommodation & Room Amenities
What is the difference between a Privilege Room and a Deluxe Room?
Our Privilege Room is the largest room category available. Additionally, the Privilege Room features both a shower and a bathtub, whereas the Deluxe Room is equipped with a shower only.
Which room categories offer a park view?
To enjoy peaceful mornings overlooking our 2 hectares of greenery, we recommend choosing from our Deluxe, Classic, or Castel Superior room categories.
Is there a minibar or a refrigerator in the guest rooms?
No. As part of our eco-friendly initiatives and our Green Key (Clef Verte) certification, our rooms do not include refrigerators in order to reduce our energy footprint. Our team will be delighted to store food or medication for you in the estate’s main kitchens upon request.
How much is the tourist tax (taxe de séjour)?
The local tourist tax is €7.80 per adult, per night.
Dining: La Table de Varennes & Lounge Offer
What are the opening hours for the restaurant La Table de Varennes?
The restaurant welcomes you every day for breakfast, and for dinner from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We highly recommend booking your table in advance by phone or online via TheFork.
What are the hours and price for breakfast?
Our gourmet breakfast buffet is available for €18 per person. Serving hours are:
- Weekdays: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Weekends: 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM
Do you offer food options outside of regular restaurant hours?
Yes. A curated Lounge Menu is available throughout the day, featuring shared platters and a choice of drinks, available upon request at reception.
Do you serve Sunday Brunch?
Yes, the estate hosts a popular Sunday Brunch. It is the perfect opportunity to gather with family or friends in our beautiful country setting. Reservations are highly recommended.
Are there vegetarian options available at the restaurant?
Yes, our Chef Éric always designs seasonal and local vegetarian options on the à la carte menu.
Yoga Sessions & Wellness
Do you offer yoga classes on the property?
Yes! From June 13th to August 29th, we host a 1-hour yoga class **every Saturday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM**, led by a certified instructor. Sessions are held out in the park or indoors depending on the weather.
What are the rates and offers for the yoga classes?
- Extended Weekend Offer: If you book a Saturday night stay, you can add Friday night beforehand for just €100 (excluding breakfast and tourist tax). With this package, your Saturday morning yoga class is complimentary.
- Friday-only guests: For guests staying only on Friday night, the yoga class can be added for €10 per person.
🌳 Activities, Pets & Estate Regulations
Do I need to reserve the estate’s bicycles in advance?
Yes, we highly recommend reserving them in advance at the reception desk to guarantee availability for your ride.
What outdoor activities are available on-site?
To enjoy our outdoor grounds, the estate offers several complimentary activities in the park: ping-pong tables, a pétanque (bocce ball) court, and a dartboard.
Are pets allowed at the hotel and restaurant?
Pets are warmly welcome at the hotel (in bedrooms and kept on a leash around the grounds) for a fee of €15 per pet, per day. However, due to strict hygiene regulations, pets are not allowed in the restaurant (La Table de Varennes) or the SPA area.
Are private or professional photo shoots permitted on the estate?
No, commercial or private photo shoots (unrelated to weddings or events officially booked with us) are not permitted. This policy ensures the privacy and tranquility of all our staying guests.

Can the estate be privatized for a wedding or private event?
Absolutely. Les Demeures de Varennes provides a fairytale setting for weddings, anniversaries, and family celebrations. We offer partial or full privatization packages for our event spaces and parkland to craft your bespoke occasion.
Do you host corporate events (seminars, team buildings)?
Yes, the property is fully tailored for **corporate functions**. We provide sunlit meeting rooms, modern technical equipment, and an ideal green setting for strategic planning or team building just 30 km from Paris.
