The Green Key label certifies that a tourist establishment meets over a hundred criteria in all areas of sustainable tourism management.
Committing to a sustainable tourism approach means applying and passing on the best practices and recommendations of the Green Key Label to your staff and customers.
An eco-responsible approach
At Demeures de Varennes, for example, we are committed to intelligent waste management: sorting bins are available and the cooks recycle waste in compost.
Particular attention is paid to linen consumption: help us to consume less by letting us know if you want your linen changed!
We also promote short circuits: the various menus at La Table de Varennes are prepared using fresh, local and seasonal produce.
The labelling process includes regular audits and the collection of evidence to attest to the seriousness of the establishments involved in this approach.
